What materials do you use in your ceramics?

All our pieces are hand-thrown or hand-built using high-quality stoneware and porcelain clays sourced from specialist suppliers in the UK and Europe. We use lead-free, food-safe glazes throughout. Our firing temperatures range from 1240°C to 1280°C, producing durable, vitrified pieces suitable for everyday use.

Are your ceramics food safe and dishwasher safe?

Yes — all our glazed pieces are food safe and dishwasher safe. However, to prolong the life and beauty of your ceramics, we recommend hand washing where possible. Avoid sudden thermal shocks (e.g. moving a piece straight from the freezer to a hot oven), and do not use abrasive scourers on glazed surfaces.

How long does shipping take?

Each piece is made to order and carefully packed by hand. Please allow 2–3 weeks from order to dispatch. UK orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days of dispatch via Royal Mail tracked. International orders vary by destination — Europe 5–10 days, rest of world 10–20 days. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.

Do you take commissions?

Yes, we love working on commissions — whether for a single special piece or a larger set for your home or a gift. Please use the contact form to describe what you have in mind, including size, intended use, and any colour or pattern preferences. Commission slots are limited and typically have a 6–10 week lead time. A 50% deposit is required to secure your slot.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to love your piece. If it arrives damaged or is not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos and we will arrange a replacement or full refund. As each piece is made to order, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, please keep all packaging as it may be needed for an insurance claim.
